EARNED TRUST — DISCLAIMER
Version included with Field Kit v0.9.12 — 2026-08-16

WHO PUBLISHES THIS

The Earned Trust Protocol and its materials are the work of William Stafford, an
independent researcher. No institution, company, funder, staff, standards body,
regulator, or professional body has reviewed, certified, accredited, or approved them.

NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

These materials are general information about a disclosure method. They are not legal,
financial, tax, medical, mental-health, security, forensic, or other professional advice.
Using them creates no attorney-client, professional, advisory, or fiduciary relationship.
For work with professional stakes, consult a qualified person in your jurisdiction.

NO WARRANTY

THE MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF
ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS,
NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

NO LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AUTHOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM
USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THESE MATERIALS, INCLUDING LOST DATA, LOST WORK, LOST
PROFITS, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS. This does not exclude gross
negligence, fraud, intentional misconduct, or liability that law does not allow anyone to
exclude.

YOUR PUBLICATIONS AND SECURITY

Anything you publish under the method is published by you, on accounts and platforms you
control. Treat public deposits as permanent. The author does not host, control, correct,
or remove them. Run your privacy check before publishing.

Never give anyone your passphrase, keys, private archive, or whole working record. The
author does not ask for them. Keep your own backups and understand that a lost passphrase
may make a locked archive impossible to recover.

THE DUTIES YOU ADOPT

A conforming record carries the standard's retention and good-faith-challenge duties.
Read the current standard before minting a record and decide whether you accept those
forward-looking commitments.
